Sense Generic Load Balancing Module without Energy Meter

This is the Zaptec Sense for situations where there is no usable P1 port. Instead of reading the smart meter, this version talks to an external energy meter via Modbus. That meter is not included.

Who this is for

Zaptec keeps it simple: if the meter has a P1 port, you take the P1 version and can, in many cases, fit it yourself. If the meter has no HAN or P1 port, you take this variant with an external meter added, and an electrician is required.

The unit measures 58 by 59 by 25 millimetres and weighs 97 grams. It connects via wifi or via a network cable, which is often more convenient in a meter cupboard deep inside a building.

What to watch out for

The energy meter is not included. If you do not buy one to go with it, this module cannot measure anything, and nothing happens. We also sell two ready-made bundles that do include the meter, which saves you the legwork.

This version is explicitly not a do-it-yourself job. Work is done inside the meter cupboard, so this belongs with a certified installer.
