Go Charging Station 22 kW with Socket

The Zaptec Go is a compact charging station with a type 2 socket. On three phases it charges up to 22 kW at 32 A, on a single phase up to 7.4 kW. You use your own charging cable.
What you bring home
The housing measures 242 by 180 by 75 millimetres and weighs 1.3 kilos. That is small for a charging station. IP54 means it can be mounted outdoors, IK8 says something about the impact it can withstand. Zaptec gives five years warranty.
Connection runs via wifi on 2.4 GHz or via 4G LTE-M. It has a built-in RFID reader, so you can start a session with a charge card. You can lock the socket electronically, so your cable stays in place.
What to watch out for
The Go does have a built-in kWh meter, but it is not MID-certified. Zaptec quotes an accuracy of around 3 percent. If you need to bill charging sessions to your employer or a tenant, this is not the right unit. Look at the Go 2 or the Pro instead, which do have a MID-certified meter.
Load balancing is not included as standard. If you want the charging station to pull back when the washing machine and the oven are on at the same time, you need a Zaptec Sense alongside it. We sell those separately.
The installation belongs on a circuit with a maximum 40 A breaker, and a type A RCD is required in front of it. That is work for a certified installer.
