These are the batteries themselves, so the storage without the inverter around it. They stand in their own cabinet and are meant for commercial buildings, farms and workshops that want to flatten their consumption peaks. Capacities start at a single module in a cabinet and run up to a system of 261 kWh. Looking for a ready-made solution for a home? Cabinet, module or complete system?
This category holds three kinds of items. A battery module with cabinet, such as the AELIO-B100 and the B200, is the building block: you choose your own inverter to go with it and scale up by adding modules. A battery cabinet such as the AELIO-B208 follows the same idea, but liquid cooled and built heavier. And then there is the complete storage system, such as the AELIO 50 kW / 100 kWh and the Trene models, where battery, cooling and control are already inside one cabinet.
For most businesses that last option works best. You do not have to match power and capacity yourself. If you plan to expand later, or already have an inverter you want to reuse, the separate route makes more sense.
Air cooled or liquid cooled
The cooling principle sounds like a detail, but it does determine where the cabinet can stand and how hard you may run it.

Which capacity do you need?
That follows from your consumption profile, not from your annual consumption. What counts is how high your peaks are and how long they last. A cooling installation that starts up early in the morning briefly draws a lot of power and therefore mainly needs kW, while a business with surplus solar power all afternoon mainly needs kWh to use that evening. Those two lead to very different systems at the same annual consumption. That is why with any request we always first ask for your quarter-hourly values and your contracted power.
What to watch out for
The batteries here come from the SolaX line-up and work within that ecosystem. So you cannot simply attach an inverter from another brand. Check straight away at commercial inverters which combination is correct, or let us put it together for you.
Then there is the connection. A 100 kWh cabinet is not a device you simply add on the side. Floor load, installation space, fire safety and the notification to your grid operator all belong to the project and take time. Honestly: if you have a 3x80A connection and peaks barely above your contracted power, a system from this category probably will not pay for itself. We say so plainly.
What we take care of
We work through your consumption data, put together a system that fits your peaks and deliver it complete with the matching inverter and accessories. For commercial storage we deliberately do not do the installation ourselves. That work belongs with an installer who knows your building and your grid operator. If you do not have one yet, mention that in your request, and we will put you in touch with a party who has done this before. A dynamic energy contract via our partner is also possible on a commercial connection, without lock-in.

What does a commercial battery cost?
That depends on capacity, power and cooling, and on what your connection can still handle. We work here with a tailored quote and no fixed price list, because a 100 kWh system works out differently for a workshop than the same system at a business with heavy peaks.
Can I expand later?
With the modular setups you can add capacity as long as the inverter and the housing allow it. With a complete system in one cabinet that is fixed. Tell us in advance if you expect to expand, that saves a second cabinet later.
Is there 0% VAT here, like with solar panels?
No. The zero rate only applies to solar panels. On batteries there is 21% VAT. As a business you can usually reclaim it, but that runs through your own tax return.
How much space should I keep free?
That varies per model and is on the product page. For air-cooled cabinets allow extra free space around for airflow, and take the delivery route into account: these cabinets weigh hundreds of kilos and do not fit through every door.
Do you also install the system?
