Go 2 Charging Station 22 kW with Socket and MID Meter

The Zaptec Go 2 is the successor to the Go. Same size, same 22 kW on three phases, but with a MID-certified kWh meter and a lit display on the front.
What is different from the Go
The meter in the Go 2 is certified as MID Class B under EN 50470. That is a metrology certification: it states that the counted kilowatt-hours are accurate within the standard. Handy if someone else has to pay for your charging sessions. It says nothing about tax or subsidy, so do not expect anything there.
The housing is also a bit sturdier. IK10 instead of IK8, and it works up to 50 degrees instead of 40. The weight goes up to 1.6 kilos. The dimensions are 239 by 178 by 73 millimetres.
The hardware supports ISO 15118, the standard behind Plug and Charge. Hardware support does not mean every function already works today.
What to watch out for
If you only charge your own car and nobody needs to be billed, you are paying with the Go 2 for a meter you do not use. The regular Go does the same job then.
Here too: load balancing runs through a separate Zaptec Sense. And the circuit breaker and RCD protection have to be external, according to the rules that apply here. Have a certified installer take a look.
