Halo 3 kWh expansion pack

The HYXi HYX-MS3000B adds exactly 3.0144 kWh to a Halo HYX-MS3000AC. It is an expansion pack and does not operate as a standalone plug-in battery.

For an existing Halo main unit

Each main unit supports up to five packs. One main unit and one pack provide 6.0288 kWh. Five packs increase total storage to 18.0864 kWh. Communication between the layers uses CAN.

The pack uses LiFePO4 cells and supports up to 1,500 W charging and discharging power. A Halo system with at least one expansion pack can charge or discharge at up to 3,000 W.

What is included?

The box contains the 26 kg battery pack, two fixed brackets, two L-shaped wall brackets, mounting materials and documentation. The main unit and P1 meter are sold separately.

The stack is floor mounted. HYXi requires systems with expansion packs to be secured to a wall to prevent tipping. The official manual requires installation by a qualified technician.

Do not buy this pack on its own if you do not yet have an HYX-MS3000AC. It cannot operate without the main unit.
