20.4 kWh home battery with hybrid inverter, three-phase

At night, when the sun is gone, the battery has to take over: in this bundle four Triple Power modules of 5.1 kWh do that job on a SolaX X3 Hybrid 5.0-G4 inverter, 20.4 kWh of storage together.

We often see this size with a family that has a heat pump on a three-phase connection: during the day the pump runs on solar power, in the evening and at night it draws from the battery instead of the grid. Without a heat pump, 20.4 kWh is more than enough for most households, and the smaller 15.3 kWh is often a more logical starting point.

SolaX itself names this configuration as a possible setup for the X3 Hybrid G4, between the minimum and maximum the inverter can handle according to the manufacturer. What you pay is the inverter plus four modules added together, rounded down, installation included. Ordering the same parts separately is therefore never cheaper, just more work.
