27.12 kWh home battery with hybrid inverter, single-phase

This package sits one step below the maximum of this single-phase inverter: three SigenStor Battery 10.0 modules on the Sigen Energy Controller 6.0 kW. Count 3 x 9.04 kWh and you arrive at 27.12 kWh usable capacity, not yet the largest package on this inverter; that follows next with four modules.
With three modules you're in the territory of a house with a heat pump and usually also an electric car that charges up in the evening. The goal isn't that you never draw power from the grid again, but that an average cloudy day isn't a problem. If you only have solar panels and no heat pump, this is generously oversized for most households; one of the smaller packages above fits better.
The installation manual of the single-phase system explicitly states that this inverter is designed to carry multiple SigenStor modules at once. Three modules on this Energy Controller is therefore a setup the manufacturer itself provides for, not a combination we made up.
With three modules too we simply add up: the inverter plus the three modules at their separate price, rounded down. Assembling it more cheaply yourself isn't possible, choosing wrong is easier though.
