Power Sensor 3-phase

This measuring module gives a Sigenergy system visibility into your 3-phase connection. Three current clamps, one per phase, and a module on the DIN rail that passes the values to the Energy Controller.
Measuring per phase, not dividing by three
In a home with three phases the loads are rarely evenly distributed. There's a phase carrying the hob and a phase with almost nothing on it. A system that only sees the total can't respond to that. With a measurement per phase the controller can absorb imbalance and prevents one phase from becoming overloaded while the other two have room to spare.
What's in the box
A module for the 35 millimetre DIN rail with display, and three current clamps on cables of one metre. Each clamp measures up to 100 amps. Communication runs via RS485 with Modbus RTU. The readings are updated every hundred milliseconds, with a stated accuracy of 0.5 percent on voltage and current and 1 percent on power.
What it's used for
Controlling on your own consumption is the main application: charging on surplus, discharging on demand. A Sigen EVAC charge point also uses the same measurement to scale back the charging power if the connection risks being overloaded. And combined with an Energy Gateway, the measurement is needed for anti-islanding protection.
What to watch for
The direction in which the current clamps sit around the conductors determines whether the measurement has the right sign. Fit one the wrong way round and the system thinks you're exporting when you're actually drawing. That's a classic installation mistake and the reason this work in the meter cupboard belongs to a certified installer.
The module is IP20 and must be fitted in an enclosed distribution board. Operating temperature minus 25 to plus 65 degrees. For a single-phase connection, take the version with one current clamp.
